Booking an Appointment:

In order to ensure a smooth and fair experience for all of our clients and staff,

we have the following policies in place for rescheduling and cancelling appointments:


All clients must provide their credit card information at the time of booking to secure their appointment. Your card will not be charged and will be stored in our secure application, Fresha.


-You may reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 48 hours before its start time at no charge.


-If you need to reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of the appointment start time, a fee of 50% of the appointment price will be charged.


-If you need to reschedule or cancel within 24 hours of the appointment start time, or if you are a no-show, you will be charged the full cost of the appointment.


All clients will receive a reminder SMS and email 3 days before their scheduled appointment. We are unable to receive voice calls and texts on this number.


To reschedule or cancel your appointment, please visit our website or call us during business hours. We are unable to make significant changes to or cancel booked services upon arrival at the salon.


Service Guarantee:

At Janos Kiss Hair, we take pride in providing high quality services using top quality products and a highly trained team. We offer thorough consultations before your service and strive to ensure that all clients leave the salon completely satisfied. In the event that you are not satisfied with the end result, we will redo your hair at no additional charge within 7 days of your visit. This guarantee does not apply to changes of mind, which will be charged.


Arrival Time:

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are lost or running late, please call the salon. Arriving late may result in losing your appointment, as we reserve the right to book another client in your place. It is essential that you contact us if you will be running late so that we can try to accommodate you.


Personal Hygiene:

In consideration of our clientele, if our hairstylist detects hair lice, their eggs, or any other parasitic insects, we reserve the right to immediately stop serving the customer and request that they seek formal medical help. Payment is mandatory at the time of the visit, including all products used, and is based on our cancellation policy, where time is reserved in good faith by our salon.


Product Exchange Policy:

We do not provide refunds of any kind, but if a product is faulty, we will exchange it. This does not apply to electrical items such as hair dryers or styling irons. The warranty for these items is provided by the manufacturer, and they cannot be exchanged in the salon due to concerns with forfeiting.


Children: As a courtesy to other salon guests and to maintain a relaxed and professional atmosphere, we ask that you watch your children at all times while in the salon. This is also for their safety.


Personal Items: Please note that personal items are the responsibility of the client at all times. We do not accept responsibility for any items lost in the salon.


Payment Methods: Payment for all services can be made in cash. Payment by EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX will incur a surcharge.
